Margot Mellet

Margot Mellet is a doctoral student in French Literature at the Université de Montréal in Research and Creation. Her project focuses on the palimpsest, as a process of remediation of a medium, to understand how the medium becomes an instance of literary enunciation. She is also a student member of CRIalt (Centre de Recherches Intermédiales sur les arts, les lettres et les techniques) and editorial coordinator of the magazine Sens public. Scientific coordinator of the Canada Research Chair in Digital Writing, she coordinates the collaborative digital publishing project of the Anthologie Palatine.

Canadian Comparative Literature Association Annual Congress

From June 21 to 24, 2022, the annual congress of the Canadian Comparative Literature Association will take place on Zoom. The theme, this year, is "Divergence and Convergence in Comparative Literature". On June 3, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. (EST), Margot Mellet gives a lecture titled "Le savoir intranquille du texte numérique : restituer une intimité avec son texte à l'écran" (The Un-Tranquil Knowledge of the Digital Text: Restituting Intimacy With One's Text on the Screen) at the conference "La connaissance intranquille" (Intranquil Knowledge) organised by l'Organon, a research and creative writing group put in place by the McConnell-Université de Montréal Chair on stories and writings surrounding care-providing and end-of-life.
