As a Ph.D candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Montréal, Julie is preparing her thesis on the narrator’s presence in the writing of Élise Turcotte, Clarice Lispector and Pierre Guyotat. Her research lies at the intersection of literature and philosophy. In a similar vein as her Master’s research, her current work focuses on identity and bodily abjection in contemporary women’s writing.
How can we think of space in the digital age? This project aims to explore this question by proposing both theoretical and practical avenues of reflection. The mythical space of the Trans-Canada Highway will be just as much the field of study as the field of exploration for our research.
