Eugénie Matthey-Jonais is a PhD student in French-language literatures at the University of Montreal under the direction of Catherine Mavrikakis. She submitted a dissertation in the summer of 2020 entitled Souverainetés du littéraire dans trois écrits de Marguerite Duras, directed by Catherine Mavrikakis and Marcello Vitali-Rosati. Her current research focuses on the reading effects produced by the narrative voices of texts by Marie-Claire Blais and Laurent Mauvignier.
